Accounts Receivable

Who owes you money, and who to call.

Most owners know roughly who hasn't paid. Roughly is how a $3,000 invoice turns a year old.

With Premium monthly bookkeeping I keep your invoicing and billing up to date, apply every payment to the invoice it belongs to, and give you a list each month of who owes you and who to follow up with. The calls stay yours. They're your customers.

What I check every month

Anything over 90 days. Payments that came in but were never applied. Money received and never deposited in the books. Each one either gets fixed or goes on your list.

Getting paid faster

If slow payers are squeezing your cash, Advisory works on it with you: who to call first, and who to stop waiting on.

Questions

My receivables report shows people who paid me months ago. Why?

Usually the payment was recorded but never applied to the invoice, or the invoice was entered twice. A cleanup fixes the past; monthly bookkeeping keeps it from coming back.

Is this in every plan?

Invoicing and follow-up lists are part of Premium. Basic covers the money moving through your bank accounts.
